Research focuses on issues related to the initiatory-mystagogical function of catechesis, the biblical dimension of catechesis and the catechesis of persons in special educational situations. Dr Tibor Reimer
Tibor is Associate Professor in Religious Education at the Roman Catholic Faculty of Theology of Cyril and Methodius of Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovakia) and consultant member of the National Institut for Education. He works in the field of Youth Pastoral, Religious Education and Catechetics. He collaborates on the inovation of the School Curriculum for Religious Education in Slovakia and as a trainer of teachers of Religious Education. He is a member of the Catholic Order of the Salesian of Don Bosco.

Prof. Dr Mirosław Stanisław Wierzbicki
Member of the Salesian Order. Graduate of the Faculty of Theology and the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. Doctorate from the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Since 1 September 2016, Associate Professor at the Chair of Religious Education in the Department of Catechetics at the Faculty of Education of the Pontifical Salesian University of Rome. From 2019, director of the Salesian Society Primary School in Konin and lecturer at Kujawsko Pomorska High School in Bydgoszcz (Poland). Member of the Scientific Society of St Francis de Sales in Warsaw, the Italian Association of Catechists (AICa), the European Forum for Religious Education (EuFres), the Polish Society for the Study of Religions and the Society for the History of Education. His research interests focus on religious education, didactics and teaching methodology, Catholic education, teacher training and Salesian pedagogy. Initiator of the Amicus Award and numerous projects in the field of sustainability and spirituality at the Vienna Business School. Founder and coordinator of the Department for Pedagogy of Sustainability and Spirituality at the Kirchliche Pädagogische Hochschule Wien/Krems. Member of the board of the International Pedagogical Network PILGRIM and coordinator of PILGRIM in Poland. Organiser of numerous scientific PILGRIM conferences in various European countries. Author of publications on sustainable development and spirituality. Has participated in the EuFRES Forum since 2016.
